"VARIETY continues to Biblically tell us what's what in show biz! Reporter Joyce Millman makes waves giving us her choices for the top 10 TV dramas series of all time. Here they are: 1. "The Sopranos" 2. "Hill Street Blues"3. "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" 4. "Homicide: Life on the Street" 5. "Twin Peaks" 6. "thirtysomething" 7. "My So-Called Life" 8. "The Rockford Files" 9. "Gunsmoke" 10. "Law Order." Variety, not wanting to appear to be offering the Ten Commandments, decided then to ask several dozen other TV critics to give their opinions. For "favorite drama of all time" they listed in this order: "The Sopranos," "Hill Street Blues," "Homicide: Life on the Street," "Six Feet Under," "St. Elsewhere," "thirtysomething," "Twin Peaks," "NYPD Blue," "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "The West Wing." I was happy to see "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" listed as No. 1 in the "most under-rated drama of all time" list. I appeared in the movie of "Buffy," which was a flop, but it did form the basis for the hit TV show."
