'Buffy' Re-runs Twice a Week

The WB Network has taken one last stab at its departing "Buffy
the Vampire Slayer" series. Beginning June 24, the network
will air reruns of the show in the Sunday 7 p.m. slot, in addition
to the previously announced airings on Wednesdays at 9 p.m. Last
month, the network moved "Buffy" from its traditional
Tuesday 8 p.m. slot, where it will air on UPN starting in the fall,
to Wednesdays. The double-run strategy, which aims to depreciate
the value of a series' reruns, also was used by Fox with "The
PJs" during the summer before handing the show over to the
WB.
