BOTH SHOWS GARNER ACROSS-THE-BOARD RATINGS INCREASES FOR THEIR
TIME PERIODS YEAR-TO-YEAR
BURBANK, CA (November 20, 2001) The WB's Monday combo of 7TH HEAVEN
and ANGEL continue their winning ways as both shows scored their
best ratings of the season.
...ANGEL again proved its strength and has become a terrific companion
for 7TH HEAVEN on Monday nights. The series equaled its time period's
best performance since 1998 in women 18-34 (3.4/8) and persons 12-34
(3.1/8). ANGEL also achieves its season best in women 12-34 (3.9/10),
teens (4.3/13), female teens (5.2/16) and male teens (3.4/10).
The drama crushed the network's time period performance from a
year ago in every 18-34, 12-34, 18-49 and teen demo and scored year-to-year
gains in household rating and total viewers. ANGEL scored +24% year-to-year
time period growth in persons 12-34 (3.1/6), +30% in adults 18-34
(2.6/7) and +8% in total viewers (4.9 million).
ANGEL finished #1 in its time period in teens (4.3/13) and female
teens (5.2/16) and beat NBC's Third Watch in all 12-34 demos.
